It was nice having a working break for the past two/three weeks, but today brings with it the stark reality that I’m still just a second year University student. This semester entails Sociology 325, Archeology 325, Philosophy 249 & English 231; Deviance & Social Control, Ancient Civilizations, Ethics & Fiction. On top of that, I’m too sick to function, and the YouthScape National Gathering in Banff is tomorrow. Like I’ve always said, timing never works out for me, thus I prepare for the worst. Tonight I’m attending a YouthScape meeting & running a UNICEF meeting. A short break from both jobs is a slight freedom, but also affects me fiscally. Dad still hasn’t confirmed his return flight home… But no worries, 2009 is still off to an amazing start, and in the famous words of John Legend, Each Day Gets Better.
