I know that it’s impossible to wear sneakers without wearing socks too, and that’s probably the reason that most of my shoes have been deadstock all summer, and why any new pairs haven’t been touched.
In the corporate world, sneakers aren’t deemed appropriate anyway, so all I wear is chucks and loafers; sockless! And on Fridays, when I can get away with it, sandals work great too. I wish I lived in a place where I could be without socks all year.
