Bandoulière

  • August 30, 2013

You know how sometimes handbags speak to you? They tag at your heartstrings and touch your soul? No? Is that just me? Well I can admit it doesn’t happen very often, and ironically, always only at these luxury French boutiques (Chanel, Hermès, Louis). When I was at the local Louis shoppe last week picking up a celebratory handbag for the wifey, this beauty was just sitting on the glass counter, with heavenly beams shining light on it and trumpets playing and angels singing. No but really, I am fully aware of the Keepall family of Louis bags; hell the Keepall 55 is one of my favorite travel bags. But to see it in the smaller, more chic, more versatile, more DAYWEAR version makes my heart beat faster. And at one of the most attainable price points Mr. Vuitton could ever present, this bag is too good to be true. So eloquently named the Keepall Bandoulière (which means shoulder-strap in French .. disappointing right?!), and presented here in my favorite Damier Graphite, this bag screams young urban professional trying to stay understated while desperately seeking your attention. Sums me up quite nicely, no?
