T-Shirt: MADE IN HELL-A, T-Shirt: BRIAN LICHTENBERG
I’m sorry but what’s not to love in these cheeky, satirical plain tees. These seemingly underground brands obviously picked their cue from the designer-priced basic logo tee shirts from Burberry and Gucci, and more recently, Celine and Givenchy. To me, these shirts are the somewhat conceited dudes at the house party, nodding their heads with their odd for fashion, with a smirk on their face to their own wit. Variations include the “BRRRR, So Icy” Burberry inspired tee, the “FELINE, Meow” Celine inspired tee, “HIGH Schouler DROP OUT”, “Don’t Be A Haider” and the recently released (and my favorite) “Meow Meow”, an ode to Miu Miu. I pretty much want them all.
