After all of the planning, prepping, wrapping, dining, greeting and scheming, it all comes down to this. December 25, Christmas morning, gifts wrapped, candles burning, breakfast in the oven, carols blaring, and everyone fast asleep. B and I decided to (as usual) take the reigns on the Christmas morning breakfast this year, and I went with an eclectic cabin-fever mismatched table setting – to be honest it was the easiest thing I have ever done. Just take every random Christmas thing and pile it on! After the unwrapping madness, we went to an afternoon church service, then over to the family’s for one more over-indulgent meal, and before we knew it, there it is. Christmas is over for another year. How did you spend your big day?
