I’m pretty excited for all the of the secrecy, lies, festivities and obligations to finally climax on December 24/25 and be done for a whole other year. I took the above photo whilst on our recent Christmas vacation in the mountains, and oh wouldn’t it be grand to escape the internet and the city and spend Christmas next year cuddled up in a cabin, with a blazing fireplace, old Christmas records and a home-cooked holiday meal? Ah, I can only imagine. Or better yet, on a balmy sandy beach in the Caribbean. Regardless, this Christmas isn’t even upon us yet and I’m already planning the next one? Scary. But really, the stress and deadline (some self-made) of this year have really made me question this socially constructed pseudo-religious holiday. Too late now! Last day of preparation before the madness that is Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day are upon us! Are you prepared?
