Can anyone believe that the Endoxist has not purchased a new pair of shades since 2009?! THAT’S THREE YEARS AGO FOLKS. Granted that 2011 was a ridiculously busy year for me where an online presence didn’t even exist for me, still, a solid pair of shades is not just a fundamental fashion accessory – its an everyday necessity. For eye protection, wrinkle reduction, safer driving, etc etc. No don’t get my wrong, I have been looking high and low for my next pair of shades, but I’m myself shocked its taken me this long after my slow and painful separation for my Louis Vuitton Evidence shades. Slow because the wonderful folks over at Louis Vuitton spent 5 months tightening the screw in the arms (yes, five months), and painful because once returned to me, advised me that the screw would continue to get loose every couple of months. Pretty straightforward conclusion for me: exchanged for a bag! But in the meantime, I’ve been unable to find any designer shade to combat the Evidence’s badass-ness, gleam, shine, and overall ozziness of fashion. Am I sounding facetious? Please excuse my prose – when the blaring heat that Calgary is experiencing this summer, coupled with the blocks upon blocks of outdoor walking I do everyday, I am really beginning to regret those Evidence shades (am I thought?!) Anyway, the options pictured above are fun, funky options for those who don’t wish to drop $700 on a pair of sunglasses. I’m not even sure where this post is going. I NEED SUNGLASSES.
