Last month, my sister and I literally killed two birds with one stone: one special day to commemorate our greatest academic achievements to date: her high-school and my university convocation ceremony. The downside was that both of our ceremonies were held at exactly the same time, so we had no choice but to miss each others’ special day, in order to enjoy and soak in our own. Needless to say, we tried our hardest to coordinate our schedules and maximize how much we got to see and congratulate each other that day. At one point, we even got into the same convocation robe to take some special photos and symbolize both of our amazing days. She’s a special one, that girl. So proud of her and so happy that we both got to share such an amazing day together.
