Who would have thought that a nude-pink top made up of silk petals would contrast so well with a blunt gold-and-black metal collar and a leather-sleeved coat? But Calgary weather being the way it is, it makes sense to pair booties and leather sleeves with pastel tones. I alway debate with my girlfriend over this silver-with-silver and gold-with-gold argument: can you really not wear silver earrings with a gold watch, etc? Does this give fashion some basic structure or does it drain the fun out of the arm party?
