How wonderful it is to experience so completely a drastically different life-style from what I have so grown accustomed to. What everyone has been saying to me is so true; my life went on a 180 different direction from where I had expected it go from September 2009 onwards. Regardless, the love and hospitality shown to me has left me stunned and shocked, and makes me feel better about the world – knowing there’s actually some genuine people out there gives me hope. Anyway, I spent many, many week- and week-end nights over the past three months sitting on a couch, munching on junk food and watching movie after movie, only taking bathroom and cigarette breaks, both in Holland and in Calgary. And frankly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Just wanted to send some love to my special family, and wanted to let ya’ll know how much you mean to me, and how dearly I cherish and miss those many evenings spent in your company.
