Seems pretty straight up, right? Obviously, fashion is all about playing with layers, right? But this season, Menswear seems to be really leaning towards the playfulness of an over-sized collar, or a slightly cropped shirt. The huge jackets are perfect for recessionistas out there; dig into your parents’ closets and pull out the stuff that obviously isn’t custom fitted for your body; roll up the sleeves and you’re good to go. As well, there are longer shirts and cardigans layered over already large outter jackets, so this season, its ALL about over-sizing it kids. So go have fun, and embrace the trends brought forward in New York Fashion Week. But make sure you stick to your true style through it all. Happy styling.
