Trousers London

  • September 2, 2009

Those who know me well, know how much I love my denim. Designer? High-end? Exclusive? I’m all over it. But, and please let me know if you disagree, don’t you find that more and more of these so-called “premium” denim labels are falling victim selling more and more expensive pairs of jeans, with only slight variations in the back pocket detail, or the thickness of the stitch? This is why Trousers London is such a refreshing new denim brand, one that, I feel, truly stands out among the rest of the jean companies currently out there. Why so dope? For starters, every single Trousers denim comes with a unique ID number specific to that pair. Launched during London Fashion week in February of last year, this brand is headed by four very creative directors; Angel, Arthur, Kaspar & Marek. These four came together to give us “an experimental, ambitious, future-focused jeans label inspired by London, from unique designs and shapes to small but important details. Their aspiration is to make jeans for the genuine modern-day gentlemen, for the man who loves the thrill of the new and is always at the forefront of the avant-garde. Each model of their jeans is limited edition.” Currently, there are ten different models of Trouser denim, all hand-crafted out of premium, organic denim in their factory in Italy. Their most recent collection offers two new drop-crotch cuts, and the ever-present attention to the tiny details makes these jeans that much more wanted! And to top it all off, their ad campaign for this season was so crazy, so… thought-provoking and inspiring, that I had to post it up to show ya’ll. The shoes used, the styling, the shots, the edits, its so awesome. Enjoy:
