I posted a video a while back, detailing how I saw this specific strap on-line, looked all over North American for it, and finally found it in Costa Mesa, California. What I didn’t mention is that since it was shipped to me, this strap has just been deadstocked. I had absolutely no way of attaching this to a BlackBerry, unless I used one of those silicone covers, and no offense, but I hate the way those look on the Bold. And I guess it’s a good thing either way, considering I’ve gone through four separate BlackBerrys from the time I ordered this back in October. Anyway, I was organizing my drawers the other day and found the Gucci box with this strap, and just for the sake of fun, I pulled out the strap and threw it in my bag. Well, at work yesterday, one of my coworkers and really good friends found it and asked why I never used it. Because it doesn’t fit on my Bold, Jay. But Lizzy had other plans. She took my phone apart, there has to be a way to attach this thing!, and her perils paid off, because, voila, we figured it out! Thanks Lizzy, I’m so happy that I can finally use this piece. The black leather strap with the silver interlocking Gs and the silver base match perfectly with the black leather back of the BlackBerry Bold, with it’s silver hardware. A match made in heaven!
