The last long weekend of the summer came and went as quickly as the first long weekend did. Heck, it came and went almost as quickly as Summer 2013 did. As I’ve mentioned on the blog before, the older we get, the seemingly faster time seems to be moving. But then, as usual, this summer has been full of surprises, and definitely has been the most eventful one thus far. And all I can say is this, the changes taking place this summer are destined to follow me the rest of my life. I comprehend now why most people say “these are the best years of your life”. Best? Maybe not yet. But influential? Absolutely.
