When breakfast isn’t at Dennys at 3:00 am, when running into old friends isn’t in an over crowded club, when conversations don’t happen over blaring music and deep bases, that’s when you know: you’re growing up. We had one of the busiest Saturdays in the summer thus far, but the agenda could very well have been my parents’. Brunch at our favorite diner (pictured above), lunch for my friend’s birthday, then off to a beautiful Baby Shower, then running to a House Warming/Blessing, then changing for a surprise birthday party, all ending with a house party. Why must I always be reminded that I’m getting older?! ..and why is it that I am actually enjoying it? Its so exhilarating to watch your friends grow up, succeed, settle down, start lives together, take new challenges and risks. But I could still use a drunken night of club hopping, concluding with a Grand Slam for $12.99, couldn’t you?
