Calgary has welcomed in a chic, spacious and oh-so-inspiring bakery and cafe in Eau Claire and we couldn’t be more excited. As creatives, we are constantly seeking out new spaces and places where we can go to dine, go to think, and go to plan/discuss the future, and when we stepped through the large glass doors of Alforno last Sunday, we knew this would be one of those places for us.
On the same note, we have made a concerted decision this year to simplify and declutter our lives, and this includes lists of goals, to-dos, wishes, etc. I know I’m the biggest culprit of having one too many books/lists for varying purposes, which is why I spent today working on consolidating and simplifying my many journals and books. Its physically and emotionally cleansing, and I highly recommend you try it. And hey, you can trek all your books and lists over to Alforno, order a slice of decedent red velvet cake, and be prepared to be inspired!
