I know that its technically now called “The Top of the Standard”, but its definitely more fun to call it the “Boom Boom Room!”. We were so lucky to be able to walk into the Standard, grab the elevator to the top floor, and walk right into this restaurant overlooking the Manhattan skyline (with no reservation!). It was always something I wanted to experience when in New York, and what better occasion then the eve of my birthday? We got to cheers to champagne at midnight (while grooving at Le Bain) as we looked out in awe at the glorious sight in front of us.
