What is it about Chucks that make them so versatile? You can rock them with shorts, with jeans (both bootcut and straight-cut and even skinny), with trouser pants, with sweat pants, and the list goes on. What is it? I’m not too sure. But who ever the genius was behind Chuck Taylors was obviously on the right track. And the best part? Collaborations are so damn easy with this sneaker. There’s the now classics like John Varvatos & Jack Parcell, and then there’s collabs like this one, that just make you want to cop a pair quiiick. I mean, even though in all honestly, this simply looks like the classic Converse high and low tops, with the signature Comme des Garçons PLAY heart on the side, designer and founder Rei Kawakubo says he took inspiration from the 1950s Converse archives. Do we care? Haha not really, cuz all in all, this is a pretty dope kick. The four styles will be available at Converse retailers in China, the States and Canada sometime in October. And price-point?
