Even more celebrations, dinners and night-outs? Yes – as I mentioned before, June 2012 was destined to be an eventful month in our lives this year. And with B’s birthday and my graduation just behind us, we invited our friends and family for a night of fine Italian dining and revelry to follow. It being June, and a weekend nonetheless, we had a very transient evening, with guests dropping by before rushing off to another event, or others coming later after their previous engagement. I had arranged for a surprise birthday cake for B, while she had arranged for a surprise graduation cake for my sister and I – ironic, no? My girl also decorated the venue with grad memorabilia. My best friend came in from out of town, and so many people from our various walks of life were able to make it out to celebrate with us – I am truly blessed with such amazing people.
