As mentioned on here before, we had the privilege of attending five weddings this year! Of them, three of them were in the Fall and all of the brides were absolutely beautiful. Last night was the last of our wedding festivities for this year. As patriarchal and commercial as weddings are, I am proud of my generation for picking and choosing what sentimental and traditional elements to embrace, and which to disregard. I am also enjoying all of the modern touches: midnight snacks, photo booths, custom vows, and the such. Ah, the age of innocence, the twenties. We are already looking forward to the three more weddings we have been invited to next year. Hello toonie bar!
