If you follow us on Snapchat (ENDOXIST / MON_MODE), then you would know that today, we arrived in the City of Lights and the birthplace of many of our favourite designers and fashion houses. But something we noticed right away wandering these familiar streets was the amount of different but amazing things that were happening in the capital of France over the next few days:
one / PARIS FASHION WEEK
also the primary reason for our visit to this beautiful city, French designers are showcasing their Men’s collection for the Spring/Summer 2017 season
two / world famous Paris Summer Sales
literally today, the boutiques and department stores launched their world-renowned annual sales, where designer merchandise and items are slashed down to 30, 50 or 70% off! watch for a full article on this up very soon
three / EURO 2016 European Football Championship
the hoards of rowdy (and somewhat drunk) fans cheering, singing and chanting are hard to miss, and neither is the national colours of other European countries (including Germany!) who are playing in the finals
four / La Fête de la Musique
just yesterday, the world famous Paris Music Festival concluded, resulting in clogged up bus routes and tons of garbage on the streets (which was promptly cleared up though!)
five / summertime in Paris
obviously, Paris is one of the world’s most visited cities, and in the popular months of the summer, the city swells with tourists who are here for no other reason then to snap the Eiffel Tower, stroll the Avenue des Champs-Élysées and eat macarons.
