A little furniture shopping, some greasy Costco pizza, a cheesy rom-com on Netflix, and in bed by 10:00 pm – now that’s an adult Valentine’s Day! We definitely kept things simple this year due to the recent madness in our lives, and I definitely enjoyed it. I received a beautifully thoughtful gift and card in the morning on the way to work, and B came home to find chocolates, cookies, her favourite Hydrangeas and a thoughtful gift from me. Personally, we both kind of side-eye this holiday; we don’t need a calendar printed day to remind us to show each other we love and care for each other. But its still a fun excuse to binge of chocolate!
