Every year, my company invites us and our friends and family to a casual weekend ski and snowboard retreat, with an evening banquet and dance, and a brunch the morning after. This was my second year attending and I brought my kids with me (my little brother and sister). We lucked out this year and got a loft suite with two bathrooms, a working fireplace and a kitchen! It always such a task to pack properly for these type of events, what really is casual for a company dinner banquet? Can I wear my leather shorts and a Givenchy shirt, throw on a pair of GREYANT shades and DSQUARED creepers and call it a night? Ha, if only. Instead, I used the ski weekend as a perfect opportunity to pack my life away in my rarely-used Gucci leather runway weekender bag. See, every situation can have a fashion realization.
