IYBC Birthday Celebrations: Monika – Calgary

Yes it was a month ago, but it does honestly just feel like it was last weekend. So strange how sometimes time crawls along, and sometimes it flies. We welcomed in the month of June with the celebration of my girlfriend’s birthday, when my closest friends, along with hers, got together in style. My best friend (from out of town) surprised me at the venue, saying he “wouldn’t miss this for the world” – he literally drove off the highway and to the restaurant, ready to go. These are the type of people that are surrounding my life, and I thank God every day for them and the many blessings they bestow upon me. We chose the stunning venue of Rush in Calgary’s downtown to meet for drinks and desserts, followed by three guestlists at some of the city’s hottest night-spots; Se7en, Mercury and Opus. Fashion is always a celebrated focal point at all of our events, and it was truly a spectacle.
