Okay so maybe not necessarily “deadstock”, but I’ve only rocked these shoes once before, and that was on a field visit I had in Guyana, South America for UNICEF last year. Other than that, they’ve been stashed on top of my closet for almost a year now. I randomly found them today and decided to throw them on. Denim footwear is hard to properly rock, just like any other denim piece (with the exception of Denim itself, obviously). I clearly can’t wear jeans with these shoes, and since the majority of the year is engulfed in Winter here in cold, cold Canada, these beauties had to be deadstocked, until today! Wearing my Diesel shorts, I pulled these out for a busy day today, and they were super comfortable. Plus, its always nice when you get hella compliments on your footwear. Original, different shoes like these always get second glances, whereas your typical Dunk Hi’s might not necessarily get the same response. Something to consider. Try something new. I love shoes.
