It’s really coming down to the wire, and though I’ve bought a lot of new things to wear while I’m down in the Dominican, that’s obviously only half the challenge (or pleasure, depending on how you look at it). Now comes my favorite part; STYLING. I turned to the runways of May – July 2008, and decided to feature two designers that don’t get a lot of airplay on IYBC: Calvin Klien Collection & Salvatore Ferragamo, and one of the all-time IYBC favorite shows and designers; Kris Van Assche. There was obviously some common themes: gladiators, clean lines, and lots of shorts. But BFS, its the Spring collection, the models can’t exactly strut the catwalk in boots and furs. Anyway, these are the looks that helped me pre-style some looks while on vacation.
