- Last week was the first week of Advent, the Church’s official countdown to Christmas. In celebration, we baked gingerbreak cookies, and served it with eggnog while we put up all the Christmas decorations at our place.
- Thus far, my anthem for this season is Skating – George Winston.
- As per my Twitter, the only things that will make me happy this year are Creed, Tom Ford or Hermes. I hope Santa brings me at least one of them!
- Last night was my company’s Christmas Party at one of Calgary’s premier Italian dining spots, Teatro. The crowd was glamorous, the atmosphere was festive, and although I had to leave within an hour because of this bloody cold, I still had a wonderful time.
- Christmas shopping is officially finished. Such a relief.
- December always means the end of another semester of school, so here’s to all my readers who are working on Term Papers, Final Projects and frantically studying for finals. We’re all in the same boat.
- On a completely different note, December also means the arrival of Resort Wear, and some Spring 2011 has already begun springing up in shops. Look forward to a full Spring 2011 Menswear Trend Report in the short future.
- Christmas parties, birthdays, church, dinners, coffee dates, long hours at work, gift-exchanging, etc etc. Ya’ll know how the month is, so no explanation is needed for the lack of updates.
- In the haste of the season, don’t forget the reason we do all of this; to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
