J.W.Anderson – an inspiration and considered “one of London’s most innovative and forward thinking brands”. We fell in love with his aesthetics some time ago after dying about his collections via our favourite fashion Snapchatters. The silhouettes, the fabrics and the interchangeability between mens- and womenswear are so refreshing! Whether the pieces are oversized, “too long” or “too short”, have a million folds or drape off the shoulder in a rather unpredictable way, to me this is true fashion. The showcase of fabric stitched together in a way that in interesting and thought provoking, and tells an entire story without the wearer having to open their mouth. This collection had many ‘feminine’ aspects to it, including a ton of models rocking the newest Pierce bag, but who is to say that men should step away from wearing knit tunics, or cropped jackets?
