I don’t like complaining about Mondays or any day of the week for that matter, but today I was unprecedentedly exhausted, lethargic and generally in a grumpy mood. It could have had something to do with our outrageously packed weekend of laying in bed and diving hard into all the wonders Netflix has to offer. How fitting that the weekend we slowed everything down the most – no projects, no errands, no shopping – is the most exhausting. I suppose the panic that is setting in with me regarding the end of summer doesn’t help my current state of mind. I know its technically just started, but the fact that I am making August and September plans right now marks the departure of Summer and the embrace of Fall. Not fair. On an unrelated side-note, why Monday greens and not blues? For one, Monday Blues is far too conventional for the Endoxist, and secondly, because green is the color of the knit I am rocking in the glamorous photo above. At the end of the day, I am blessed that while I may be exhausted and getting ready for bed at 9:00 pm, I am not exhausted alone. Thank goodness for B.
