Truly, Place Vendôme is one my favorite spots in Paris. Back in 2009, right when I arrived in Paris, this is where I found myself square after getting lost in the streets – smack in the middle of this iconic traffic circle, and like a bolt it hit me: I’M IN PARIS. Ever since then, nothing (or should I say nowhere) in Paris compares to my feeling while at Vendôme. It certainly helped that our hotel was literally three blocks away, so every single day, we had the pleasure of perusing through Vendôme, marveling at the luxury jewelry shops flanking its border: Cartier, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Bvlgari, Van Cleef & Arpels. I’m also really looking forward to visiting the historic Ritz Paris once the construction is complete. What’s your favorite spot in Paris?
