Life has a very interesting way of putting you in your place – although you fully intend on taking giant leaps forward, sometimes you need a couple of steps backwards in order to cleanly make the jump forward. And those steps backwards, especially when progress is so close you can taste it, are painfully humbling. This weekend, I’ve had more then my share of slices of humble pie. Sometimes, our being needs that reminder that yes we are all human and yes we all came into this world the same way and surely will also exit the world the same way.
