VIENNA, AUSTRIA
For some interesting reason, right before all the madness and excitement of the wedding began, we decided to take an actual “vacation” kind of thing and explore the historic and beautiful city of Vienna in Austria. We actually flew direct from Toronto into Vienna on an overnight flight, and had a beautiful car waiting to take us to our hotel when arrived bright and early in the morning. It was rainy and kind of chilly, and we weren’t able to check into our hotel room early, but we were so stunned that we had made it to Europe, with a million luggages, outfits, decorations, favours, gifts and honeymoon clothes for our five-event wedding in Prague, the bachelor party in Berlin and the honeymoon in Athens and Santorini. I remember feeling very… awake. And alive. And blessed, humbled, ecstatic. Days later, our families will begin arriving in Europe, and then, I will get to have the happiest day of my life. Who could sleep under those circumstances?
