I was graciously invited to Calgary’s last installment of Runway Monthly yesterday. And despite the city’s first major snowfall, Calgary’s fashion crowd was out in full effect. The event was run spectacularly with a silent auction to benefit the Starlight Children’s Foundation, a private trunk show, and of course, runway shows featuring local designers, stylists and boutiques in and around Calgary. Even though I had to duck out early and miss the grand finale, I am very pleased with the direction that our “little-big city” is going fashion-wise. There is exciting things to come, and its even more exciting to have the opportunity to be a part of them. Bravo.
