Our trip to Toronto last week was jam packed with Fashion Week, press events, personal errands for our upcoming #KCCreativeProject, friends to connect with and places to eat. But all that was put on hold for a few hours so that we could properly enjoy the much anticipated first Saks Fifth Avenue department store in Canada. We visited the flagship across from Toronto’s Eaton Centre and from the moment we walked in, I was in awe. Stunning architectural details married with the traditional square floor plan of luxury department stores. The space was instantly chic, luxury, glamor but also welcoming and inviting.

More important that that, however, was the selection of bags! My wife was in heaven as literally every style of Chloé bag (with the exception of the Faye, obvs) was on display in a gorgeous shop-in-shop. Right next door? Valentino. Beside that, Saint Laurent. Coming soon is a Dior and a Prada boutique. A Céline and Louis Vuitton boutique were also present. Upstairs, the shoe department featured designs from Lanvin, Balenciaga and Nicholas Kirkwood. For being the epitome of high-end fashion, Saks definitely did not disappoint. Even if you’re not in the mood to drop a few G’s on a nano cross-body French purse, I would recommend just browsing through for the inspiration of it all!
