“Sticky Date” Night: my GFs + D

  • December 22, 2008
Scheduled in mid-November, around five very diverse and hectic schedules, I’m so glad that everything for my Christmas Dinner with the girlfriends and best friend went off without a hitch. Despite snowy conditions, car troubles, and hella delays, my friends & I know how to make the best of every situation.
The weather was less than appropriate for a casual stroll through the zoo, admiring the lights, but that’s fine, as long as we’re together, we’re good:

Dinner afterwards was at my favorite joint on Stephan; The Metropolitan Grill. Classic place with amazing food, exceptional service and exclusive liquors not found in many other places in the city. Nothing but the finest dining for my girls, and Souljah Boy & I stole a page from T.I.’s book: “Baby you can get whatever you like!”

We started off the night sitting in this order, I don’t even remember how it ended up by the time we paid the $450 bill:

The Metropolitan Platter to start: mushroom & cheese fondue, jumbo coconut shrimp, Asian rolls, ginger chicken and dry ribs;

For dinner: Chef’s rib eye steak, lobster mac & cheese, king crab salmon, Cajun chicken and stuffed chicken;

From bottom shelf tequilla shots to top shef Greygoose, there was nothing dry about our date:

And molten lava chocolate cake, Met apple pie & sticky date pudding for dessert;

The best meal I’ve had in a while, with my best friends, completely enveloped in unconditional and nonjudgmental love.

Love you guys.
Thanks for making my Christmas Dream
come true. <3
