The City of Cities

  • September 6, 2012

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – AUGUST 4 TO AUGUST 8, 2012

Don’t be mislead by the title of this post; I don’t mean to imply that Las Vegas is THE city of cities, I mean its a mini city compromised of world-famous cities from around the earth. Spending a handful of days in Sin City feels like touching the best of the best cities, all within walking distance of each other. From the skyline in New York, the pyramids in Cairo, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the famous canals in Venice, the fountain of the gods in Rome, the list goes on and on. And this time around, we really tried to do the ‘global tour’ of Las Vegas. Although we stayed at the Caesars Palace on The Strip, we made it a point to venture out to different parts of the world, so to speak, in Las Vegas. That meant all-you-can buffets in Planet Hollywood, The Mirage, and even The Flamingo Hotel. We shopped the Forum Shops, the Shoppes at The Palazzo, and the Fashion Show Mall. We partied at The Cosmopolitan, Caesars Palace and The Palazzo, and we even managed to lounge at the pool in The Aria, The Bellagio and of course, Caesars. The weather was hot, the drinks were free-poured, the food was endless and the shopping was all-you-can-eat! We sincerely enjoyed ourselves in the short time we were there, and the mark of a good trip is when planning the next trip commences before your return home. Remember to click “READ MORE” for a photo journal of the trip.
