How I Spent Valentine’s Day in Berlin

On this massively commercial day of overpriced blooms, expensive dinner reservations, and hyper-pressurized intimacy, what did I do? Exactly the opposite of the expectation. We ate frozen pizza in bed while watching our latest Netflix binge, and we just enjoyed each other company.

I open my eyes so I can see with you,
And I live, so I can die with you.

Everyday should be a day to celebrate your love, to cherish your partner, and to tell them all the reasons you cannot imagine the thought of living in this world without them. So this year in Berlin, I did what I do every night: laugh with my wife and enjoy the moment.
