The night before we departed for Europe, I realized that in all the hustle and bustle of packing and planning for Europe, I had not given any thought to what I would be wearing for my transatlantic flight – an outfit in which I would (1) fly from Calgary to Amsterdam, (2) parade through Amsterdam, (3) fly from Amsterdam to Berlin and (4) parade through Berlin. But as they say, everything goes with leather pants and a wicked coat, and with that advice, I marched forward confidently through Dutch and German lands. But let me tell you, stripping off my clothes after two flights and wandering through three different countries was heavenly.
