One of the beautiful things about fashion is its deep-setting ideals that, once instilled, can never be removed. Mr. McQueen was one of those who, every season, re-instilled said ideals, causing us to constantly question the normal and repetitive environment around us. Every season, folks talked in marvel at the ever boundary-pushing of the great Alexander McQueen. The above pictured is one of my favorite shows, his Fall/Winter 2008 RTW Women’s Collection. This much I’m sure of, his vision will live on, and he will go down in history right beside Coco Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent – as one of fashion’s great.
