This year, instead of paying horrendous amounts for a ticket, waiting in line, chugging over-priced drinks and then wandering through downtown in vain looking for a cab home, we decided to take matters into our own hands and throw a New Years Eve party for our family and closest friends. To heighten the glamor factor, the theme was Masquerade, where all guests had to enter the house covering their eyes with swanky masks, and if they forgot this essential component of the party, they had to serenade the guests with a song and dance. Delectable treats, sparkling champagne, floor-length gowns and a midnight countdown to remember capped off our New Years Eve this year, and it was definitely one to remember.
