Another epic year comes to a close, and for the first time in what seems like years, we ended off December in the same city as where we began January (although in a different apartment again, but that's a whole different story). It was a very interesting year, with many incredible 'firsts' and some of the biggest and most exciting things happening in our careers, all thanks to our readers.
As full-time dedicated residents of Toronto, we saw the city in all four seasons, and into all of its corners. We really made it a point to put on comfortable walking shoes (thanks Ecco!) and wander through the entire city. We spent many long summer evenings on the waterfront, eating pizza and thinking about all of life and the crazy ways that the digital media continues to evolve and change. We finally returned to the Fashion Week circuit after a year off (2017 was all about relocating from Berlin to Toronto) and couldn't be happier. We celebrated my big champagne birthday with friends, and also celebrate Oma's 75th in Germany. Lots of milestones, and even more champagne. Cheers to a year well lived!

What I said last year: "I so enjoy putting these posts together and going back through my year. Unforgettable experiences and beautiful moments that I will forever cherish. I am so grateful and humbled to be living this life and I am so excited what 2018 will look like!" -- but literally, me. Again, this year was insane. Can't wait for the adventures of 2019.
